Why traders rely on us
The problem we solve
Trade fraud thrives on missing information. We close the gap.
Spot fake buyers
Advance-fee fraud, identity spoofing, and "too good to be true" orders — we confirm the counterparty actually exists and is who they claim.
Verify bank details
A common point of fraud. We validate that the account and beneficiary genuinely match the claimed company before you wire a cent.
Authenticate documents
Invoices, registrations, letters of credit — we check the documents your counterparty shares for authenticity and consistency.

Why traders trust us
Built for one job: protecting your money across borders
Not an algorithm guessing from public data. Real people, confirming real facts at the source — and standing behind the verdict.
Source-level verification
We confirm companies through embassy and consulate channels in their own country — reach most traders simply don't have.
Your data stays private
Documents and counterparty details you share are used only for your verification — never sold, never listed publicly.
Independent & unbiased
We're not paid by the companies we assess. Our only loyalty is to the trader relying on the verdict.
Evidence, not opinions
Every verdict comes with the supporting evidence behind it, so you can see exactly why we reached it.
120+ countries reachable
From the Gulf to Southeast Asia to Latin America — wherever your counterparty is, we can usually reach them.
Fast where it matters
Most verifications return in around 48 hours — fast enough to act before a deal window closes.
Know the threat
The scams that drain exporters & importers
If any of these feel familiar, verify before you go further.
The advance-fee buyer
A "buyer" places a large order, then invents fees — certifications, permits, agent commissions — you must pay upfront before they'll release payment. The order never existed.
Most common against exportersThe bank-mismatch switch
Details look legitimate until payment time, when the beneficiary name quietly doesn't match the company. Funds wired there are nearly impossible to recover.
High-loss, low-recoveryThe forged-document supplier
A "supplier" sends registration papers, quality certificates and an invoice — all fabricated or stolen from a real firm. You pay a deposit for goods that never ship.
Targets importersThe identity impersonator
A fraudster poses as a real, reputable company using a look-alike domain and spoofed email, riding the genuine firm's reputation to win your trust and your deposit.

As an importer I deal with new suppliers constantly. Having an independent verification report makes the difference between hoping and knowing.
The document authentication caught a forged registration certificate we'd never have spotted. Worth every rupee.

Questions
Everything you need to know
How is VerifyTrade different from a credit report?
Credit reports tell you about financial history. We confirm something more basic and more urgent for cross-border trade: that the counterparty genuinely exists, that their bank details are real, and that the documents they sent you are authentic — verified by humans, at the source.
What do I need to submit a verification?
As much as you have: company name, country, the contact person, the bank details you were given, and any documents shared (invoices, registration, LC drafts). The more you provide, the stronger the verification.
How long does a verification take?
Typical turnaround is around 48 hours, depending on the country and the depth of checks required. Complex cases involving on-the-ground confirmation may take longer.
Do you guarantee a company is safe?
No one honestly can. We deliver an evidence-based risk assessment — Low, Medium or High — so you can make an informed decision. It dramatically reduces risk; it doesn't replace your own judgement.
Is browsing and reading scam alerts free?
Yes. The business directory, scam alerts, and educational content are free. You only pay for verification reports and premium business listings.
